Edward Ademoroti is a Commercial Capital Advisor with Ashdown Capital. He began his career in commercial banking at Connect First Credit Union in 2020, starting as an analyst before transitioning to an account manager role later that year. Since 2023, Edward has focused on brokerage, leveraging his expertise to connect businesses with tailored financial solutions that drive growth and success.

Edward holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Lethbridge. He is passionate about value investing, which complements his dedication to helping business owners make informed financial decisions and achieve their goals. Ben brings over two decades of banking experience to Ashdown, having worked in the UK, US, and Canadian markets in different sectors, from asset-based lending to sub-prime mortgages in Florida (he didn’t cause that particular debacle, but he certainly had a ringside seat for it!).

Ben has also formerly run two businesses in the UK (where he originally hails from), so he has a unique perspective on understanding exactly what the risks are for business owners in need of financing and in their day-to-day operations.

Having worked in the Calgary market for the past decade, he decided 2025 was the year of change and wanted to provide the best service he could to both clients and the market. This meant being independent of any particular financial institution and sourcing the best options for his clients, wherever they may be.

Moving to Canmore in 2015 from the UK, Ben and his wife, Michelle, are proud fur parents to Bryson, a chocolate lab who has a mind of his own and will leave no squirrel un-chased on his walks! Ben is a Past President of the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce who enjoys skiing, golfing, and embracing all that life has to offer in the mountains.

Gregory graduated from Concordia University in Edmonton, Alberta, with a Bachelor of Management. Gregory has more than 9 years of experience with Farm Credit Canada in the commercial farm finance sector, which includes Alberta and British Columbia.

He has expertise in working with a variety of agricultural enterprises and has firsthand experience in operating a family farm in Alberta. Gregory has an Alberta Real Estate Act license and is working to obtain his license in British Columbia while extending his clients to include a broader spectrum of commercial entities.

Greg spends his free time golfing, tending to his family farm, and spending time with his wife, Dakota, and their three children, Emmy, Isla, and Adam.

With over 20 years of experience in finance, Sarah specializes in brokering agricultural and commercial debt solutions that support sustainable growth and long‑term resilience. Her background includes deep specialization in agriculture, complemented by experience across diversified industries and Indigenous finance, enabling her to structure financing that aligns lender expectations with real‑world operations.

She holds a business degree in Management and is an FEA candidate, bringing rigorous financial analysis and practical insight to every transaction. Clients value her ability to present clear, bankable financial narratives that strengthen lending outcomes.

Based in Camrose, Alberta, she has lived in a rural community for more than two decades and brings firsthand experience from a family business environment. Outside of work, she is a parent to three teenage daughters and an endurance athlete, competing in ultramarathons and long‑distance cross‑country skiing – experiences that reflect the discipline, preparation, and persistence she brings to her professional work.

Kyle brings 13 years of commercial banking experience with a chartered Canadian bank, spanning different cities and segments, with roles in credit, relationship management, and senior management.

While he’s grateful for his time in the bank, he recognized that the underwriting process can be frustrating and believes clients can benefit from a banker that exclusively represents them, not the bank. Having seen Ashdown’s success in B.C., Kyle believes businesses will benefit from bringing the Ashdown model to Calgary.

Kyle calls Lake Bonavista home with his wife, Kim, and daughter, Mila (there is another on the way, but the jury is out on what to name that one). Outside of work, Kyle cycles, weight lifts, and runs. He also moonlights as a mediocre purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Despite the occasional black eye and mangled shoulder, jiu-jitsu is really quite good for your health.

Kyle is also currently securing his mortgage broker license under The Real Estate Council of Alberta.

A proud Calgarian by birth, Peter resides in the SW with his wife, Charla, who is also an entrepreneur, and their two children. Outside of the world of finance, Peter devotes the majority of his free time to shuttling his children to various activities and coaching baseball. When he manages to carve out some spare moments, Peter indulges in his passion for snowboarding, golf, baseball, camping, and taking on home renovation projects.
