Jonathan has over a decade of commercial and corporate banking experience in the interior of BC, working for two of Canada’s largest chartered banks. During his banking tenure, he covered a variety of industries including real estate, agriculture, construction, the public sector, automotive, franchises, and natural resource services. He has been awarded multiple top performance accolades at the national level, resulting from his creativity in getting deals done and his drive to see his clients succeed. He has also spent time “on the other side of the desk” as a VP of Finance for a mid-sized construction and engineering firm. This experience outside the banking world has drawn him back to wanting to be a true advocate for his clients.

A passion for learning led Jonathan to obtain his Bachelor of Management from UBC Okanagan, specializing in finance and economics, as well as his Master of Management with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and regional economic development. The primary focus of his graduate research was renewable energy finance and development.

Jonathan is proud to call the interior of BC home, having spent time living in the Kootenays, Peace Country, and the Okanagan. He currently resides in Kelowna with his wife and two sons. In the rare moments between work and family time, you will find him either on the basketball court, practicing martial arts, or in the lake.
